Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: I own two Palms. I registered software for one. Can I use Schizophrenic to run the software on both?
  • A: Yes you can, but this is probably illegal. Most licenses allow you to have the software on only one device. Having more than one requires multiple licenses (often called a 'site license'). However, the most efficient method would be to give both Palms the same UserName. Then, configure Schizophrenic with HotSync.

  • Q: I changed my UserName. Now my registered software does not run. The developers say I need to re-register. Can I use Schizophrenic rather than re-registering?
  • A: Yes you can, but this might be illegeal. Carefully read the license that came with the software the first time you registered it. Then, decide if you have the right to continue to run the software, or if you want to break the law. Note that even if you decide you have the right, you might be wrong.

  • Q: I have registered software. Can I give it, my registration key, and my ID info to a friend, so they can run the software?
  • A: Yes you can, but it is illegal.

  • Q: Why would you create something like this?
  • A: See the why section of the website. If you are still left wondering, please repeat but be more specific.
